About
Haribol! This blog was born at a time when things were beginning to turn around at Srila Narayana Maharaja’s Sri Radha Govinda Temple in Venice CA. There were about 5 devotees around at the time I was visiting and checking out the work they were doing on the lower level space. One day, a few devotees told me to get a new domain for the temple, and rosetemple.org was agreed upon. (Previously, we had used venicetemple.com as our portal, which we lost to cyberspace.) I secured the domain. Nischintya Das began to contact me and inform me of current activities and goings on at the temple. I started to gather info and compile a blog to serve as a gathering point for devotees interested in the preaching activities in Venice, which were beginning to manifest for the 2nd go around. This time, the mood is under the direction of Srila Gurudeva, (as always), directly lead by BV Padmanabha Swami. I set this particular interface up so another devotee might take over the seva as my pregnancy came to term. I gave birth to my daughter, Govinda Priya Dasi, Sept. 20, 2009, and since this blog is still under my editorship, I humbly intend to maintain it in hopes it takes on a miraculous and active form for all devotees. In service, Braja Ballabha
We have been devotees of Srila Bhaktivedanta Narayana Gosvami Maharaja for some time now. We had gone to the San Diego Temple then Jaga Mohan and Venu Gopal moved it to Venice. Last we heard was the Venu dropped out and move back to UK and Jaga was removed and the Temple closed. Could you please update us on the current standing of things, Thank you. Haribol!
Nischinta!! Congrats on your new endeavor. I still miss the great food we used to have at the temple. Glad you are doing well.
